Director, CLI Chattanooga: Christian Leaders Institute, 2019–present

Christian Leaders Institute is the largest online-based Christian university in the world. CLI awards certificates and degrees on a generosity-driven basis, allowing anyone with an internet connection to attain a higher education degree with a 90%+ coverage of tuition from the generosity of others.

  • As director of CLI Chattanooga, my mission is to align philanthropic efforts in the greater Chattanooga area with hands-on ministry training and mentorship to raise up strong leaders in southeast Tennessee.

Mentor:Truth in Nature, 2017–Present

Truth in Nature is a ministry that takes boys from fatherless homes and mentors them in God’s great outdoors while witnessing to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • As a mentor, I participate in monthly retreat weekends with boys from age 12 to 18, helping them understand the outdoors and themselves, and demonstrating what a positive male role model looks like.


  • Organizing over 30 faith leaders representing over a dozen different faith traditions into an interfaith coalition to advocate for improving our public schools

  • Advocating for increased funding to hire nurses and mental health professionals, increase teacher pay, and fix deferred capital projects in schools such as leaky roofs

  • Receiving highest award in Scouting, Eagle Scout, after over 10 years of service

Director of Faith-Based & Neighborhood Partnerships: UnifiEd, 2018–Present

UnifiEd is a non-profit organization dedicating to ensuring that every child in Hamilton County has an opportunity to receive an excellent public education. Efforts include everything from leading “boots on the ground” clothing drives all the way to advocating for systems-wide policy change using community organizing models.

  • Lead UnifiEd’s efforts to provide information to, develop partnerships with, and expand participation of both faith-based and non-faith-based community organizations.
  • Coordinate a comprehensive organizational effort to incorporate faith-based and other community organizations into programs and initiatives.
  • Remove barriers to the participation of faith-based and community organizations in UnifiEd programs and initiatives through outreach.
